I’ve always been interested in the health field. I first considered going into psychology or western medicine, but was dissuaded by a lifestyle that wasn’t intuitive to my idea of health. I turned to the allied health professions to find another way to provide healthcare where I could also “practice what I preach.”

My search ended with acupuncture. Once I started thinking about acupuncture, a path seemed to align for me. I was intellectually challenged, spiritually fulfilled, and my pursuit became easy. I realized that acupuncture is just one branch of a whole system of East Asian medicine. By learning about this system, my way of life has changed and I have become a more balanced person. I have found my life’s work and hope to become more skilled while I continue my education in this vast and ancient medicine.
